Keeps installing the same outlook express updates

I downloaded the recent update KB837009. I run check for updates once a week.
I now have 2 of the same updates in my installation history. Why?

Hi all. I finally got mad enough to quit going through all the suggested
fixes and used some common sense and deleted all windows updates and outlook
express in the add/delete programs function.

I reran updates for windows and office 2000 and all of my problems were
suddenly fixed. No more downloading the same updates 20 times only to have it
say I needed these updates.
Score one for the non college educated person.
