Hello, we get a message on some Vista systems during an install of our
company software that the Amyuni PDF Converter kernel-mode driver cannot be
installed. We know for a fact that the newer version of this driver we are
using runs in user-mode and not in kernel-mode (so the error seems
misleading). We have tried temporarily disabling UAC, enabling the "Run as
Administrator" option on our install file, and logging in as different user,
allowing all applicable Windows Updates to be downloaded and installed on a
test Vista system - but the error persists. This does not occur on all Vista
systems (on some the PDF driver installs successfully). We are completely
baffled as to why this is happening. If anyone has any suggestions it would
be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
