kernel-power

Hi

I have the same problem.
Everithing seems to work fine buy the screen is shut down.
In the event manager says it has something to do with kernel-power
event 41.
I can´t find anything usefull nor in microsoft, nor in hp (i have an
pavilion tx1000)

I'm working on safe mode only and I'm driving crazy!

If the error was Kernel-power event 42 then do the following:
go to Control panel -> System and Security -> Power options

You can then change the power plan options to never put the system i
sleep mode or adjust when the screen is turned off
