I need help, heaven knows what I did but now I cannot get my shift key to
work. Like if I want to put in a question mark I hold down shift and
question mark, if I want to make any symbols like at, and, percent I get
strange things. Can anyone help me. Thanks so much.

Open the Control Panel, go to Regional and Language Options. Be sure you
have selected the proper language, keyboard layout, etc. for the language
you have installed Vista in.

I have this same issue.
I also know it has nothing to do with the languadge setting.
everything on this system is fine.

I am however useing windows 7
i have also heard that holding the shift and alt key for 10 sec was suppose
to fix the issue. but this also failed for me.

I am a techie and build system.
I have remove the driver and reinstalled them
i have used another KB and it has the same issues
on this system only on other systems it is fine.

Is there a KB shortcut that changes the keyboard layout?

What issue are you having, dipshit? Without quoting what you're responding
to no one has any idea WTF you're talking about!
