Keyboard Emulator/Driver?

I have a program than I need to input data into but it won't let me copy text from my clip board into the program. I was trying to find a keyboard emulator/driver that would just read text from a file and reinput as keyboard input. I figure this way the program just thinks I am typing way fast on an attached keyboard, or can something similar be done with a batch file. I'm running XP, thanks.
