Keyboard haywire after resume

I locked Windows Vista without closing virtual pc window running XP Pro. When
I resume to the existing Window Vista with the XP VPC, the keyboard became
screwed up. When I tried to type a url (regardless in Vista/XP VPC) on a
browser, some of the character is recognised. Instead, the windows (browser
and XP VPC) either minimise or maximise when the key is depressed. Eg. I
tried typing "good" in a search url, the character "d" will not appear but
the other window running XP VPC minimise and maximise.

Does anyone have a solution?

When I typed on the keyboard, the character cannot be recognised. So
everytime when I tried to key the character "d", the VPC window would
minimise and maximise.
