Keyboard occassionally Not Detected

I recently replaced some components in my system, namely the motherboard and
power supply (see below for full specs). I reformatted the PC and installed
Windows x64 on my two HDs in RAID 0. I noticed that after booting,
occassionally my keyboard would be unresponsive and the PC required a reboot,
after which the keyboard usually would work again. Here is a list of some of
my findings:

1. The keyboard ALWAYS responds to get into BIOS

2. After booting from the Windows x64 CD-ROM, I could always press F6 to
load RAID drivers, but occassionally, I could not press F8 to continue with
the license agreement to install Windows. I had to reboot to get the
keyboard to respond again.

3. While Windows x64 was installing, once they keyboard was not responding
to install my serial key. I had to reboot again and things worked fine.

4. Now, with my Windows installed, after every several reboots, the keyboard
is unresponsive for whatever reason. If I go into Device Manager, NO
Keyboard is listed under devices. If I reboot, the keyboard is usually
responsive again and shows "Standard 101/102 Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2
Keyboard."

I am using a Microsoft Digital Media Pro Keyboard. I am using the USB to
PS/2 connector so I can turn on my PC from the Keyboard. I am also using a
Logitech MX700 Cordless mouse on USB. I have tested the keyboard in other
systems and it works fine. I have also used the keyboard in the same system
with other motherboards and a slightly different PSU with no problems.

Any ideas why Windows x64 occassionally fails to detect my keyboard?

If this is a USB keyboard, perhaps you should enable an option in the BIOS
that is usually called USB Legacy Support?

Some systems are having trouble with USB mouse and keyboards during
installation and early phases of the boot process, but since yours is not
completely inoperable I suggest checking the above!

Its a USB keyboard, but I'm using the PS/2 Connector to connect it to the PC.
This way I can turn on the PC from my Keyboard.
