I have a keyboard running on vista 64bit, but I don't know the correct setting.

On my other keyboards the @ sign is above the 2, but on this keyboard it is
besides the enter button. And above the 2 stands the " sign.

Can somebody tell me which layout this is?

Thank you very much and happy holidays!

Grt,
M

Hi,

Have you switched the layout under the Control Panel/Regional and Language
options/Keyboard and Languages?

Heya,
its funny i know but the different dialects of english have different
keyboard layouts,
in this case the US layout the @ sign is above the 2 however in the
Irish/UK layout it is beside the enter key where you described it
to change this simply beside your task bar in the bottom right of your
desktop you have a symbol labeled EN and a keyboard symbol, click on the
EN and go "show language bar" it will appear at the top of the screen
click the help icon and then scroll down and click "Add an input
language" then open Regional Language and options, click the keyboards
tab and change keyboard, then click add. Add whichever one you prefer,
and click ok
now click on the keyboard icon on the language bar and you can switch
it to any setting you prefer

Happy holidays to all!!!

@ next to the return (enter) key is English GB (UK) layout
@ above the 2 is the American layout I believe
