The keyboard settings are set at english - canadian/usa - yet when I use any
of the non letter characters i.e. the ? on the computer I receive a French
symbol i.e. e acute. Our IT folks seemed a little stunned as all setting are
english - nothing points to french or french canadian.

Any suggestions?

I can check with IT - but I do not think so since our entire operation is
english and the office program software is in english. I have checked word to
ensure it is using english/canadian setting.
