You really need to test your keyboard. Get another, or use the 'on screen'
keyboard in 'ease of access' to see if that still happens. You are probably
getting a stuck alt key.
One funny way to fix that is to turn the keyboard over, and pat it on the
back, or use a vacume cleamner, or can of air to blow out what is making the
alt key stick.
