In XP when lsass is killed through Process Explorer,
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx ,
"shutdown -a" will abort the shutdown.

Does this work in Vista? When I tried it, the system still shutdown
on me after one minute

thanks,

Thufir
