Why are there kittens on my toolbar after I updated Internet Explorer?!
Also, how do I get rid of them?!

Sounds like you updated with a spyware toolbar. You need to
get spyware removal tool(s) such as SpyBot Search and
Destroy and Ad-Aware.

Where did you get this update and what was it called? Did
you read the instructions and privacy statement before
downloading and install the "update?"

I have a kitten on mine but it's legit..a little program called "Purrint"

Have you scanned the system with an updated antivirus tool in
addition to what Jim has suggested ?
