Okay, I'll get straight to it. Yesterday my Dell Studio 1537 laptop
started BSODing and I think it was because I hadn't fully installed my
McAfee trial; so I did that and things seemed fine, for the time being.
My brother has the full version of BitDefender so he told me to download
a trial version of that so he can send me the full CD eventually.
Instead of installing Bitdefender then uninstalling McAfee, I did the
opposite and now it starts BSODing and I can only access it within
safe-mode. BitDefender, Avira AntiVir, AVG all do not install on safe
mode for some reason.
I tried starting it on Safe Mode with Networking so that I could use
the BitDefender online scan but that doesn't work either.
WHAT DO I DO? My laptop is 11 days old. Feel free to berate me for
being a total doofus as long as there's something constructive.
