Is there a site that deals with know issues pertaining to SP2?

After I downloaded SP2 it would take a long time to open the recycle bin.
It would take forever to load the list of programs in the add/remove window,
Explorer took forever to open, then when I tried to access the external hard
drive it gave me an error message and wouldnt let me see what was on the
drive and I noticed that the light on the front of the external drive was
blinking red which made me think that it had crashed. After running a
million virus checkers, pest control programs, etc, I simply disconnected
the external hard drive and everything worked fine. This all started when I
downloaded SP2. Way to go Microsoft, I guess when you dump a fix full of
bugs you are baiting everyone to buy you next OS.

Frustrated for two Weeks

Not really, the best place to start is with the manufacturers of the
hardware and software.
What did the manufacturers of the external drive say when you asked
about SP-2 compatibility with their product before installing SP-2?

They told me that they had experienced some problems and they suspected SP2
was the cause for the problems, they suggested that I uninstall SP2, they
also suggested that I reformat the hard drive. I did not uninstall SP2
because I was afraid of the issues it might cause. I did reformat the hard
drive and it now seems to work ok.
