I have a KVM OmniView 4 port with ps/2 only that I've had a few years.
Several months ago I got a new notebook and connected my mouse to 1
of the usb ports. I would like to be able to connect to the KVM
switch to use my other devices and wanted to know if I connect a usb
adapter to one end of the ps/2 cable and connect it to the notebook,
then conenct the other ps/2 into the KVM switch, will that work? If
so, any certain adapter recommended?

There's no way to say for sure. I have a KVM with both normal connections
and USB to PS2 keyboard/mouse adapters and it works fine on some computers
but others won't recognize the mouse, or work fine until you switch to a
different PC on the KVM and then they won't work until rebooted.
