I have Comcast internet service connected to a Linksys wireless-B (BEFW11S4)
router. The recent addition of a notebook with Vista Home Premium has caused
frequent internet outages for the entire LAN. I can reset the router and
resume internet access. This is not a Comcast issue, and I have updated the
router firmware. Is there a Vista conflict taht can be resolved to prevent
the internet outages?

I have similar issue to yours, dropping connection if added one more
Internet connection. For this, I have worked for hours and found a reason
for this issue. Anti-Virus Comcast offerring for 'free' regards an added
Internet Connection as being 'outsider' or 'invader.' Thus, an entire
Internet
connection in my household started to lose.

If I un-hooked an Adapter from the added PC, Internet Connection came
back to the life. Otherwise, because of one more connection, entire
connection would lose.

However, if you're not using any of Anti-Virus related programs Comcast
offerring, then it could be other things which I, too curious about.

My Linksys WCG200 exhibits similar behavior. Neither of these routers are
listed as "Vista Compatible".

I was told by Linksys that my only option was to get a new router.
