Hi! I am downloading languagepacks, Swedish, Danish and Spanish. Everything
went alright with the Swedish pack, but with the other two?
I get the error code 2. I have tried to restart my computer and reinstall
them, but nope.. Still the same error code. Have tried now about 10 times and
still not working.
Can someone please tell me what is wrong.

Windows Vista Ultimate language pack release information
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925471
"Occasionally, language pack installation fails, and you receive error code 1 or error
code 2. This behavior typically occurs when Windows Update has installed another update
that has requested a restart. If you experience this issue, restart the computer, and then
reinstall the language pack without selecting any other updates. Because of the download
size and the installation time that is required to install language packs, we recommend
that you only install one language pack at a time. "

Taur,

Just want you to know that the information you posted is the same
information I saw on my computer about 10 times. I am rebooting, and
installing only 1 language pack, with nothing else running. It fails every
time.

Then the only other thing to do is contact MS

How to obtain assistance from MS Support

Customers in the U.S. and Canada can receive technical support from Microsoft Product
Support Services at 1-866-PCSAFETY. There is no-charge for support calls that are
associated with security updates or using Automatic Updates. When you call, clearly state
that your problem is. Note any error codes etc.

In other countries, see http://support.microsoft.com/security
"No-Charge Support...for virus and other security-related" issues in right-hand menu for
localized contact information.

For more information about how to contact Microsoft for support issues, visit the
International Support Web site:
https://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx

When you do get a response that works, please post back and let others know so it helps
everyone.

Thank you.
