Large Vs. Small

Howdy y'all

Emachine/Vista .....widescreen monitor ... set display settings according to
manufacturers recommended settings ... some web pages are easily readable ..
others require a magnifying glass ... why the variations ??

I set custom dpi size too.

If you create a document in Word (or whatever word processor you use)
you can choose to use a large font (say 16 point), a small one (5
point, for example) or anything in between. The choice is yours.

The person who creates a web page has similar choices.

In most cases, you can change the size of the text you see by holding
down the Windows key and scrolling the mouse wheel. One direction
makes it bigger, the other smaller. This is a Windows standard and
works in most (but not all) applications.

Hi LT,

As Ken and Frank has explained to you the reason why, may I suggest IE-7
Pro. It's a great add-on for IE and will solve your text size problem. It
has many great features also, but the text size is one I use often. It puts
a text percentage size at the bottom of IE and a simple click will change
how the page is displayed.
