No problem, but I would say you are wiser for it.
If you are saying the problems went away and have not occurred again after
installing each of them now - looks like none of those updates caused your
problems - something else did.
And you do not just have Windows Vista - you obviously have Windows Vista
with SP1 and not just any Windows Vista with SP1 - but one of these versions
of Windows Vista with SP1:
- Windows Vista Enterprise 64-bit Edition
- Windows Vista Home Basic 64-bit Edition
- Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit Edition
- Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit Edition
- Windows Vista Business
- Windows Vista Enterprise
- Windows Vista Home Basic
- Windows Vista Home Premium
- Windows Vista Ultimate
And yes - it does make a difference many times. Specifics can help
immensely.
I have seen and now witnessed first-hand trouble getting Windows Vista
Ultimate 64-bit Edition with SP1 to boot after installing KB 959108. I have
not witnessed that yet with any of the 32-bit versions (although it could
happen with that update or another.)
So now are you not only wiser about what did not cause your issue directly,
but when asking for help - it is wise to give complete information, not
partial, even if you are unsure if it is important. ;-)
