Latest Windows XP security updates (9) and Roxio ECDC 5 proglem

Downloaded and installed these 9 security updates to keep system up-to-date,
but found Roxio program no longer worked correctly. Had to jump thru hoops
to get Roxio functional again; rolled system back to remove the security
updates. Suspect one or more of them was to blame -- any ideas which one?
Would like to have both Roxio and the security updates. Thanks

I would remove Roxio and install the Updates then re-install Roxio instead
of taking a long time to find out which one

> Tried your suggestion, Peter, but ECDC 5 bug reappeared (would not complete last track when ripping CD audio tracks to files). So I guess I could download each update separately to see which one(s) cause(s) the problem. Am I right that neither Roxio nor Microsoft will be helpful?
