Lattest Updates are great.

The Updates released last Tuesday makes Vista lightning fast and in
particular the update for IE8 made a remarkable change to the speed of IE8.
Well done MS, I will stick with Vista for a while.

I think this unlikely. They are too busy with Win7. If anything, it
will be just a compilation of previous fixes including those of the
Fix-It people.
