Layout01.msi is requesting your permission

When using MSKLC in Vista to make a customized keyboard, I get up to the
point where Layout01 (windows installer package) is created.
When trying to install this Layout01, the following message appears: “An
unidentified program wants access to your computer. Layout01.msi is
requesting your permission.”
I click on allow, but another message appears: “The installation was
interrupted before the new keyboard could be installed.”
What can I do to, successfully install this Layout01.
Thanks in advance, Gerhard

Hi Gerhard,

Right click the setup file and use 'run as administrator'.

Hi Rick,

When I right click Layout01, there is no ‘run as administrator’, only
‘install, repair,uninstall,……,delete,rename,properties .

Thanks Gerhard

Hi,

Nope, not the .msi file, but whatever the initial setup software is. The
"run as administrator" option is not available for .msi files, just
executables.
