Left-click functionality across partitions?

I have had my data on a separate partition for the last year or so, and I do
like it that way, but ever since then, I've gotten used to using right-click
to drag-n-drop from the desktop (C) to my Documents (D), as the right-click
gives you the option of actually moving, instead of copying the file. Is
there any way I can get the left-click action to actually move, as opposed
to copy (I realize that within a partition, left-click moves, but across
partitions, it only copies). I looked in TweakVI but didn't see anything,
nor did I see anything in the Mouse section of teh Control Panel.

No, that's the way the operating system was designed. Sorry.

To over ride the normal copy behavior between drives and force a move, hold
down the Shift Key while dragging.
See http://www.petri.co.il/advanced_drag_and_drop_vista.htm for more
details.
