Looking around support forums, it sounds like Leisure Suit Larry 7: Love For
Sail wants specific screen res and color depth. Try right-clicking on the
program (or installer if you haven't installed) and selecting properties,
the select the compatibility tab. Select compatibility mode for Windows95
and check the "Run in 256 colors" and "Run in 640x480 Screen Resolution"
boxes

if that doesn't work post some more info such as:
What kind of message or error does it give you? Were you able to install it
or is it the installation program that is failing? what type of video card
and driver version do you have?

Hopefully with the answers to them we can help out!
Mark

The program stops working and Vista closes it. I found out that it was
running in compatibility mode. I unchecked it and it runs fine now.
Thanks for the properties suggestion. Never really thought of it.

Thanks again,
James

Awesome game.

Could probably run it with DOSBox if LSL7 has a dos executeable, but you
said you fixed it already.

I remember the first time I played LSL2 with my Atari ST and MT32, classic
soundtrack, I'll never forget it.
