lexmark 5400 and windows vista

Please help.....I purchased a lexmark 5470 printer, scanner, and fax and
installed. It works fine but now everytime I close a window....windows shuts
down and restarts. What is the problem? I un-installed the printer and
windows worked fine. I installed the printer again and I get the same
problem. Anyone know what to do?

Have you checked Lexmarks website for an updated driver or contacted their
support folks about this problem?

Yes I've done both. The Lexmark people could'nt help and said they would
call be back about it. I'm going to try and get help from the e-machines
people today see if they can suggest something.

Well, if you don't get any help, my only other suggestion is to use a driver
thats closest to the 5470 thats available.
