Library: how to delete files that no longer work

I have the window media player 10
1. you know how when you delete songs, or you move them to other folders,
the song name remains on the library. How do you tell the library to
automatically go through every song on the list and delete those that no
longer exist? or if they've been renamed, to trace the new file and rename it?

2. is there a way to create a playlist that you can sort by artist/title?

If WMP finds a few tracks within a short period of time that it cannot
find, then it will ask if you want it to check all other files from that
location.

If they've been renamed or moved then WMP will track them automatically.
For best results the destination folder should also be in the folder
monitoring list under Tools > Options > Library.
