Life Cam 7000 and video call question.

Bought myself and daughter Lifecam 7000 to stay in touch. Used windows live
messenger for video call and all worked fine. Next day, we try again and she
can see me and herself on the screen but I can only see myself. The screen
where I shoud see her just has bib "X" through it. I'm on XP she's on Vista.
Also, it won't let me make a video call to her but it will let her make on
to me. Any ideas?
