I have two machines that I went to the update web site and had to install the
Genuine Validation tool. One needed to be restarted after that installed.
The other went on to download the other Windows updates, then I restarted it.
Both machines have Intel Pro MT 1000 network adapters. The other two
machines I updated today have a different network adapter and they restarted
with full network connectivity. I cannot undo the Genuine Advantage and for
some ungodly reason these two machines did not have system restore enabled.
Anyone have any ideas on how to get these machines back online. I've
uninstalled the cards and removed all the updates I can that were applied
today. I dan't thin kof anything else. Thanks
