I'd use Vista Aero, but it hangs constantly and though I've had this
problem for over a year, I'm unable to find any solution other than the
lame "reinstall Vista" solution--which just isn't an option since I'm
able to use the Classic Theme with absolute unerring speed and
stability.
But Classic mode in Vista has one issue that I'd like to figure out
how to fix. I use the List view for all my folders in Windows Explorer.
When I first open a folder in Windows Explorer, it will look right, as
shown in the attached image hopefully titled "properview.jpg".
But not long after I open the folder, the icons magically compress
against one another, as shown in the attached image hopefully titled
"bogusview.jpg".
Does anyone know of a way to fix this headache? When the icons
compress against one another I have trouble visually separating the
items in the list. I'd really love to fix this headache once and for all
(better yet I'd love to be able to use the Aero Theme, but it's
impossible--completely unstable).
