Some issues that I've noticed with the 14.0.5027.908 version of WLM 9 beta:
1. In the chat history window, there are 2 sets of window buttons (i.e. 2
close buttons, 2 minimize, 2 maximize).
2. Chat windows never remember the default color - they always reset to blue.
3. When I click the "mail" icon, it goes to msn.com - not hotmail.com like
it used to - could this be due to my default browser being chrome?
4. This is the worst problem:
I've had two friends complain that they're getting added to chat windows
for no reason. I'm not opening any chat windows, I just sign in and
apparently they get open chat windows. The one guy (I don't know about the
other) is not using MSN messenger, but Trillain/Pigen (GAIM). So I suspect
there's been a slight protocol change and these clients aren't reacting
properly? I don't know if this is something you guys can correct or if it
needs to be passed on to the 3rd party client creators?
5. I'd like to see a menu item to send direct beta feedback - it's not
exactly obvious where I should go to send my information - the Send Feedback
menu item goes to some feedback webpage, but the only versions that seems to
apply to are the older versions of messenger, not the betas.
