Live Account issues...

Hi,

I've gotten myself into a slight mess here..

Back in the days, I created a Messenger account
with my old email address. - I then
changed it to myself@my_own_address.net, then suddenly.
in the test period, you could suddenly, for free, send
Messages to mobile devices. Awesome feature.. Then
suddenly, it's not free anymore.. Still awesome. It'll
also cost me sending it from my Mobile, so I'm still
with the program..

And now, my idiocy.. In order to purchase Tokens for
sending messages to mobile devices, you HAVE to have a
account.. So I just go through the
process not even considering that I'll have to switch to
that account in Messenger, and hence loose all my contacts..

So now I'm stuck with a Live ID that can't send messages to
mobile devices - and one that has billing information and a
100 tokens I can't use - because there's no contacts...

Is it possible, by some longshot, to consolidate to separate
Live IDs ?..

Cheers, and thank you for your time,
Steff

If someone needs to contact me off board, my email ends in .dk,
not .info

And that would of course be "consolidate TWO separate Live IDs"..

Cheers,
Steff

It would be a microsoft billing issue.

Well, not consolidate, per se, but you can export all of your contacts from the
old Live ID and import them to the new ID. Your contacts will need to re-add you
as a contact with the new ID.

You can export and import contact lists. From your "my_own_address.net"
Passport account, go to "Contacts > Save Contact List...", and save the
list. Then sign in to your Hotmail Messenger account and follow the same
menu path, only use the "Import Contacts from a File..." option.

And I actually created a new account just to test this; it does work.
