live call service ending soon

I've received an email informing that Live call will not be supported by
Verizon anymore.
Is there going to be another provider?

Judging from the polycom thread I assume you found the service to be useful?

I have to admit I never did and found the quality to be less than satisfactory with those who
used it with me (wasn't available in my country for my own testing).

Yep, smart assumption...It's mainly for my family to contact me from Italy
(I live and work in Singapore)...
They are using a customized Philips phone, that integrates with
LiveMessenger, I hope the hardware will still
be useful, even if provider is replaced.

I've been trying to sign up for this service and keep going in circles and
never get to a verizon page to buy minutes. Is there a direct link? If they
are changing the service when will the new service be available?
