Live Games

Hi there,

Could somebody please help me? I had to clear my hardisk and reinstall Win XP Pro. I also reinstalled Live Messenger. Everything works fine except the games component, I've got all required supportprograms installed. If I try to send a game invitation, Live Messenger crashes inmedeately. I don't know where to look for. I use Windows owne firewall. I'm grateful for any help.

Hi Ron,

Make sure you have the latest version of Java and Flash Media Player
installed.

When it crashes, are you getting the sorry for the inconvenience box? If so, in that box,
click the "click here" link -- in the next screen, you'll see something like the
following: szAppName : msnmsgr.exe szAppVer : 8.1.0168 szModName : rpcrt4.dll

If you could reply back with what the szModName has in your error, it could be helpful.
