Greetings,
A Live ID is an e-mail address which allows access to Windows Live resources (and other
Microsoft-related sites) and is formerly known as a .NET Passport.
@hotmail accounts are already Live IDs, just sign in using your @hotmail.com address as the
Live ID and your Hotmail password as the password.
