Windows Contacts is present on Win7 for backward compatibility to
Vista(when upgrading a Vista unit to Win7, or allowing one to copy Windows
Contacts from an existing Vista PC to a new Win7 pc) to ensure that those
Windows Contacts can be imported into an email client installed on the
email client-less Windows 7. For Microsoft clients those installable email
clients would be Outlook and WLM....both of which can import Windows
Contacts(current Windows address book user)...and thereafter neither use
Windows Contacts(Outlook stores contacts in its *.pst file, WLM in
contacts.edb)
