Have WLM Ver 2009 Build 14.0.8089.726 and MS LifeCam VX5000 Ve
3.0.215.
Q1. When making Video call all OK except I ca't see my camera image o
my screen. I just see a generic screen with a big red X across it. Othe
party can see and hear me fine and I can see and hear them.
What is problem ?? Can you help with a fix ?? Its hard to know if w
are in frame when we can't see ourselves. We have to ask the othr part
if we are in picture
Problem started with last update to WL

If I double click my Lifecam Icon on the desktop it fires up fine and
have full functions. No Problems there

Thanks for the info but the material provided does not address my problem.
Cameras on both ends (both parties OS, hardware and software identical)
produce good sound and video to both parties during a web call. The problem
is my camera displaying the little window image of me on my computer during a
video call. You are not sure if you are in the frame. What I see on my side
(in addition to the other party's video images) is the big red X image where
I should be seeing myself in a little window.
