I loaded Live Messenger and setup a new Windows Live ID to use. I chose not
to load the toolbar (It said it was in beta). It looks like the toolbar is
out of beta and I would like to load it. Is the Messenger client I am
running the most current release? How do I load the toolbar since I chose
not to load it when I originally installed Messenger?
Also, I had a Windows Live ID that I used with Windows Messenger on my Media
Center 2005 PC. This is the account that is listed under Manage Windows
Passwords--not my new account that I sign into Messenger Live with. Can I
continue to use this old account with Windows Messenger or can I also sign
in with it when using Messenger Live? Are the 2 accounts causing any
trouble on my PC? I kept my Gateway homepage and chose not to make Windows
Live my start page.
I also have 2 other users setup as PowerUsers. One is for Myself. Do I
need to setup 2 new Windows Live ID's for each (one for Windows Messenger
and one for Messenger Live) or can I sign in with the same accounts I used
in my administrator account for my PowerUser Account. I don't want to cause
problems on my system.
Last question. I have a netnitco email address for my ISP which is a dial
up 56k account. Can I also use this as a Windows Live ID or will I have
problems because it is not a one of the well known ISP's? Currently I use
in Outlook 2003 for my email.
Sorry about long post!
