live messenger 8.5 (what's playing)

Hi all i'm running windows live messenger 8.5 beta at the moment in vista
home premium and i've got a problem, what it is, i dont use windows media
player 11 to listern to my music, use napser for that (just use wm11 for
vids) what i want to know is there a plugin for messenger so it show's the
album what's playing like it does in media player 11?

Although there's been discussion in the past on making a Napster one, I don't locate that
someone has actually developed one.

Thx for the quick answer, would it be worth msn developers adding the
feature into messenger as a lot of people use napster or would it have to be
up to the napster devolopers to implant the function so u can show the
track/listing in messenger ?

Hi,

I think it'll be up to third party development or Napster to do this one. Although Messenger
supports Windows Media Player and iTunes out of the box, other clients, like Winamp (and
Napster of course) have been ignored.
