Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger

Is there a way(if not maybe in the future there will be) for a contact that
has both services to show online with either or both without having to have
two(2) contact listings for them?

Oh maybe. I'm sure everyone's seen the "holy grail" concepts where you have your list of
contacts and you can chose to do what you wish with them, whether it be IM on a specific
service, send e-mail, whatever. That's the long-term goal (at least it used to be before the
destruction of WinFS), so yeah perhaps.

I can see that as an optional setting, but I would like it as it is too
