I continually get this error when trying to sign on - and it seems to be a
common error from Googling for it.
I have tried all the suggestions in the trouble shooter with no success.
My Internet connection is fine, I can browse to pretty well anywhere -
except the various MS login sites which always time out for me. I can sign
on OK in Windows Messenger.
The issue arises under XP Pro SP2 and I think I can eliminate the router
from the equation since I can sign on fine under Vista RTM from a
different PC.
Any thoughts, suggestions guidance etc. would be appreciated :-)
