live messenger gone wild

hi,

after being forced to install the new live messenger, i can't use it... the
program jams every time it tries to connect. i get the following message:
> szAppName : msnmsgr.exe szAppVer : 8.1.178.0 szModName : hungapp
> szModVer : 0.0.0.0 offset : 00000000

i tried some advices like running Ccleaner and Regseeker, and also
reinstalling windows messenger. none worked.

can you help?

Greetings Shir,

What you're describing can be typically a router deadlocking Messenger.

If you are using a router, reset the router (aka unplug and plug back in) and if that doesn't
resolve it, try seeing if there's a firmware update for the router at the router
manufacturers website.

Try to turn off the anti virus firewall or shield when you install the live
messenger
