Live Messenger Keeps Closing Down

Last evening I was working in Windows Live Mail. All of the sudden the guys
at Windows Live mail sends a message that I had to "refresh" Live Mail
because a newer version build is "up". All of the sudden after the "refresh",
my Windows Live Messenger starts CLOSING AND dying on me. After twenty times
of trying to "keep it open" and have it work with Live Mail, I gave up.

Come on Live team, get your act together and realize the close relationship
between Live mail and Live Messenger. If you do a build in real-time on Live
Mail, make sure there is compatibility with Live Messenger, especially for
those of us who still believe in the power of XP Professional until the bugs
are ironed out in Vista. Anyone have this same problem?

No. All is working well, here.

Windows Live Mail Desktop (Beta) 8.0.1226
Windows Live Messenger 8.1.0178.00

No update popups for newer versions in something around a month. Give, or
take a week.
