Live messenger LAG

i use live messenger and it is slow at doing everything, signing in, sending
messages and files, and it freezes after i send a message and while im
writing messages, and it gets really annoying, iv tried reinstalling but to
no prevail, and i know it isnt my computer because it is a
top-of-the-range(ie. it can play oblivion at full pelt with no lag), BUT
MESSENGER DOES, help, QUICK, PLEASE!!

WOO ITS STOPPED LAGGING!! WOO, dunno wot happened, i went on holiday, came
back and its working fine :P
