Live Messenger login

Hi,

I have Live Messenger 8.1 running on my Home Premium Vista but when I try
and sign in it just hangs there trying to sign in. When I first got my PC
this worked but after not changing anything at all on my PC this happened. My
firewall has been properly configured and ports forwarded, although this was
for the old MSN it shouldn't matter as with the same firewall settings as I
said Live Messenger originally worked just fine.

Any help please as this is extremely frustrating.
