Live Messenger Mobile Beta Problems

I signed up to beta test Live Messenger Mobile Beta...it installed just fine
but it wont connect at all. I keep getting this:

"we were unable to sign you into messenger. There was either a problem with
the service or your internet connection"

It all installed right and I am using the right ID and password. I have it
on a Cingular 8125.
