I'm having similar problems on a Dell Latitude D620 under Vista. If a plug
a microphone in (part of a headset), that does not work at all during video
calls (I can configure it properly in the tuning wizard). If I do not plug
a microphone in and use the internal one, that does work. However, during a
video call (but not audio call, where it works properly) no audio plays out
of the internal speakers (I can configure those properly during the tuning
wizard) but I can get the audio if I connect the headphones part of a
headset. Weird.
As for being behind a router, yes I am.
