LIve Messenger not working after Vista comes out of standby

now lets say...i switched on my laptop in the morning and everything i
fine and dandy...the msn starts up and i sign in and everything i
fine...then i sign out...ok...now after working on my laptop for a whil
i get tired....so i wanna take a break...i close the lid (which puts th
laptop on standby)....than when i'm not tired anymore i come back an
open the lid..bring it out of standby and poof! i try opening the ms
window but it doesnt...the icon on the taskbar dissapears once i poin
the mouse on it...then even if i try opening it frm the star
menu...nothing happens...so its not signing in or signing out...its jus
doesnt work once i bring the laptop out of standby...

plz plz plz help me thanks a bunch!!

I have exactly the same problem and it's bugging the hell out of me. Looked
all over the net without success, any suggestions would be gratefully
received.
