Hello,

The firm I work at uses an automatic proxy configuration file to define how
we access the internet. I've noticed that recently, I can only connect to
live messenger through a particular proxy. I want to edit the proxy
configuration file to enable me to do that. So can anyone tell me what ip
addresses live messenger uses? I will then edit the config file such that
all accesses to such addresses will be routed through that particular proxy.

Thanks.

Herbert

I personally have no idea what the IP is for the server you are seeking, but
you could do some packet sniffing to see where your traffic is going during
a log in. wire shark is the perfect tool for you.

and if you don't want to use that you can always get familiar with netstat
the windows command line tool that can monitor active tcp connections
