Simple as that. Its a new PC just formatted with Vista x64 ultimate edition.

There is no antivirus or firewall installed yet.
Windows firewall has been disabled.

The connection test says its working, but when i sign in the two MSN guys
just spin and spin til i get an error - eventually MSN told me it has to be a
firewal, which it cant be as there isnt one on this machine.

Greetings,

What is the exact and complete error message/codes that you receive when trying?

Additionally, if you're prompted to run the Connectivity Troubleshooter, what items does it
indicate are the problem?

I get the same thing.....it can't be the router that's affecting i
because I've been using the same router and it was OK before Vista x6
installation.

Must be something with x64 version that's messing it up somehow!
