Has anyone been able to do a remote scan of a contact's computer via Live
Messenger, as described in Windows Live Messenger: Help friends and family
secure their computers without leaving your desk [1]?

Greetings,

What they don't tell you there is that it's only in the US locale. If your Passport is
registered to be elsewhere on the planet, you won't get this option.

Ahh, that's indeed what it was. I was registered with Canada as my country.
Once I switched to United States, Safety Scanner (and 10 other activities)
magically appeared.

dohh!

Thanks,

Hi,

I complain about this on a regular basis for all the activities. Although some are obviously
specific to a locale, I think Canadians, Australians, Britons, et al can handle American
English.

Since there are more of them than of us, why don't WE change to do it their
